My Story

Larry and his personal dog Oggi who happens to run with Larry when he is on his mountain bike. This is truly a lifestyle dog!

Passionate. Patient. Persistent.

My love for animals goes back almost 30 years. I've had Labradors my entire adult life. About 7 years ago, I got my most recent dog, a beautiful black Labrador named Oggi. He was quite a handful in his first year. I tried so many different methods and techniques I found in books and online. Nothing seemed to work for this wonderful, but very stubborn male dog. I hired a couple of trainers to help and they couldn't do anything to change this dog.

Then I was fortunate enough to get a referral to a guy named VLADAE. I was told he was a "World Famous Dog Trainer" who had been on many tv shows and was well known for helping the most troubled cases. I was in need of a solution asap. So I met Vladae and he was so much different from any other trainers I had met up to that point. Vladae had a very different way of working with dogs. He used a language (that I now use) to help communicate with the dog. It's called Doglish and it's the very best way to get your dog to understand you. Lucky for me Vladae helped to not only train my dog... but he helped me to learn to train my dog so he was completely off-leash. It didn't happen overnight. But I really wanted to have a dog that I could bring anywhere (mall, hikes, restaurants, etc.) Vladae helped me to do that. The most rewarding thing was taking my dog everywhere I went and my dog was trained so well, no leash was needed. That was amazing!

Volunteered in Dog Shelters Training Dogs to Become Adoptable / Non - Reactive

Since, I learned all of these valuable training techniques. I wanted to put them to good use. People were already blown away when they saw me with my dog (and no leash)... but I thought I could do more. I had recently sold my business and had wanted to do something to help others. So I decided I would take the techniques I now use to help dogs that are stuck in dog shelters.

So that's what I did, I began training dogs in shelters. I wanted to help them become more adoptable. Most shelter dogs pull and are very anxiety prone. I thought if I could train dogs at the shelter to have good behavior, they would have a better chance at going home to a family. I've been training shelter dogs for quite a while now. I'm very proud to say many of the dogs I've trained have gotten their forever homes and that is so satisfying!

I really didn't plan on taking on private clients... but I've met so many people through the shelters... and so many people need help with their dogs, that it just seemed like the most logical next step. The thing is... I just love these animals so much, it's not really like work for me.

I get so much pleasure from helping people and their dogs.
